On October 14, 2015,Bonna-Agela Technologies, Inc. has been invited by Korea Trade- Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to attend the US-Korea Business Innovation Partnership at Ronald Reagan Building and International Trading Center at Washington, D. C. This event was part of the series events in advance of South Korean President Park Geun-hye’s fourth summit meeting with President Obama. In this bilateral business event, Agela has chance to have many one-on-one conversations with Korea companies from biopharmaceutical industry. Agela has seen the mutual-interests from these Korea companies to help each other to develop business in both US and Korea.

The afternoon forum held in Willard Hotel near to Ronald Reagan Center. The topic is about smart manufacturing. The experts from both Academic and industry in both countries discussed the potential collaborations on smart and clean manufacturing in electronics, biopharmaceuticals, and automobiles industries. Then around 4:00PM, Korea President Park Geun-hye came to the forum, and delivered her keynote lecture about the so-called Era of New Renaissance in the manufacturing sector by using "smart innovation,"and urged both countries to extend cooperation on research and development and engineering. Her speech was well received by the attendees from both US and Korea industry.
From the forum, we learned that Korea has put biopharmaceuticals as one of its core industries to open for collaboration. The possible collaboration fields include Generic drug manufacturing, new drug R&D, pre-clinical and clinical business, and GMP manufacturing, etc. This could bring potential collaboration chance between Agela and Korea biopharmaceutics industry.
